    Q. Jack/ Amy says tips from the game, what are they?
    A. -Rare things wash up on the beach after a tsunami, and earthquakes make stuff fall out of the trees.

    Q. What's the point of making necklaces?
A: You can make necklaces to increase realtionship points, and/or give it to a Gorilla 0_o
You can make several necklaces, although these won't be recorded in your picture book.
    Making a Necklace:
    Not Listed in Picturebook:

    Present:

    Stripey Necklace
    "Blk and wht accessory"

    White Shell Necklace
    "White shell accessory"

    Black Shell Necklace
    "Black shell accessory"

    Brown Shell Necklace
    "Brown Shell accessory"

    Weird Necklace
    "An uneven accessory"

    Round Necklace
    "3-piece accessory"

    Spotted Necklace
    "3-piece accessory"

    Q. I need help capturing animals!
    A.
-When you use a large trap, keep your distance from the animal usually a boar/goat/deer and predict where it will walk, place your large trap in front of it and walk slowly back, watch carefully and hope it will snag, bring like 2-3 large traps to make certain to capture it and never run, you'll scare it off.

-Create a small trap using a basket and a twig, you'll capture animals easier and check accordingly, in the grasslands I found pigeons, ducks, squirrels, also field mouse can be found.

-In the jungle check your footing, you'll come across a tortoise or a lizard that you can record in your scrap book.

    Q. How do you get the Drum Oil?
    A.
-"I've noticed that a lot of people seem to be having problems getting the oil drum. After testing the game repeatedly, I've discovered that there are two conditions to make the oil drum appear. Firstly, you must have gone through your first tsunami on the island. Lastly, on Beach 3, you must pick up every item on the beach (you don't need to keep them) including the coconuts near it. Leave the area (don't just go into inventory) and come back. You should find the oil drum on the beach now. If not, wait a day and try again."
    Cheers!

Thank solarianknight for this valuable info! It's confirmed, I did it and it works!

Here's a helpful tip to completing your Picture Book!
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
One rare recipes ingredient, many recipes to record.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Say you have only have 1 Sea Bass, now Sea Bass are hard to come by, but you want to record it's recipes as their are 3 recipes for it and one Sea Bass in your inventory. Simple. Go home, you must have the recipes ingredient for all 3 recipes that go with Sea Bass, now go to sleep and save. When you wake up go and cook that one recipe, see if it is recorded in your picture book, ok now quick save, turn of your DS. Turn it on. Go to Serious Survival, say Yes, Select Load, now you can cook the recipes in another way, keep repeating, that way you save on that one rare ingredient of yours.

    Q. I need help, what does those Gorilla Icons mean?
    A: Gorilla Icons:

Exclamation mark: Give it a necklace.
Green Thing: It is hungry, give it a banana.
Blue Thing: It is thirsty, give it a fruit that fills your thirst like a pineapple.

You must talk to that dying guy first then imitate the gorilla 4 times on the 5th time you give it something it will provide you the Radio.
The next time you visit it, it is close to you. Give it something, you will then get Map D.
